Take a look at our informal and traditional pub menu or order from the restaurant card. We are renowned for our local and traditional produce, the kind of cuisine you look for and rarely find! You'll be pleased to find that our service is first class, and our food appealing and fresh. The restaurant's charm is made interesting by the old chimney breast, window seats, alcoves, Windsor chairs, and also our soft furnishings. In addition, we also have a large range of international and local beers and wines that make the perfect accompaniment to your selection. Evening meals or lunchtimes make ideal times to sample our wine cellar or simply settle for the good old fashioned English pint.
With a chef as passionate about cuisine as ours, you can be sure that you will not be disappointed. Not afraid to try new things, our chef constantly changes the menus to reflect seasonal and local produce. Our restaurants quality means that our venue is also perfect for wedding venues.
In addition, we are happy to serve specifically for individual diner's dietary requirements so please give us notice in advance and we'll do all we can for you. Pubs aren't hard to come by but few are as intimate and cosy as our own. You'll find us great for civil weddings also. If you're looking for a romantic get-away for valentines day in February then our catering and restaurant service will make the occasion just fabulous.
We also offer the service of private dining in your bedroom for our hotel guests. Our restaurant is open for dining between the hours of 10am and 10pm seven days a week. Combined with our bar the restaurant service means that you can have fantastic Christmas Parties here as well.
